We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join us. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across multiple sectors, including corporate, government, and non-profit organisations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster trust and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Prepare compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs, demonstrating the firm’s value and expertise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with service offerings, ensuring seamless execution of projects. ·
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Track and report on business development activities, outcomes, and progress toward targets using CRM tools and data analytics.
Reporting/Supervisory Lines
Reporting To: The Lead Partner directly and indirectly through a designated team member.
Working Relationships
Managing Partner, other Partners, Team Leads, and other members of the team as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client management, preferably in PR, advertising, or strategic communications.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and building high-value client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and pitches.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with PR and communications trends, tools, and best practices.
- Knowledge of ESG and sustainability practices is an added advantage.
